Size and Appearance
The Don Sphynx has a muscular medium sized body. The Don Sphynx differs from Canadian Sphynx by heavier bones. All colour are allowed by the breed standard. The eyes are almond-shaped. The ears are big. The Don Sphynx's paws are of distinctive shape. They have elongated fingers with webs and are able to seize things with fingers.

Care
Don Sphynxs are hairless so they don't need combing and don't shed, free from musk odor. They are inclined to sweat so need daily wiping with cloths as well as regular bathing. Due to high body temperature Sphynxs need more food than other breeds. The high body temperature also help Sphynxs to resist infections. Adult Sphynxs possess high immunity to most desease. But it is important to keep them away from draughty places.

  Evelyn Jacobs  In early summer of 2004 had four kittens at the early ages of 4 and 5 months travelled across land and sea , enduring many hardships to bring a special kind of  joy and love to all Canadians.  Now we have beautiful kittens to share with you all.

  At present purebred Don Sphynx are slowly becoming more numerous and there is no need to use other cat breeds to maintain their breed.  Don Sphynx catteries in Moscow and Chelyabinsk in Russia, Kiev in the Ukraine, and of course here in Alberta, are now producing admirable Don Sphynx kittens in the fourth generation.  There are also Donskoy catteries in the USA producing beautiful Dons.

But there were problems with the breeding of the new cats.  The limited numbers of purebred animals were the main difficulty.  It was allowed till 2000 to breed the Don Sphynx with aboriginal Russian breeds which were close to the Don Sphynx.

Sphynx Personality
Their personality has been universally praised across decades and continents for their demeanor. “They are the most intelligent and affectionate family pets I have ever met and the smartest cats I have ever seen. You could describe them as “part monkey, part dog, part child, and part cat.” 
Loyal, closely identifying with their human family, they follow people around, and use their paws like hands.  Some say they are more like people than cats.  Their spirit is more than temperament or personality.  The strength of the Traditional Sphynx is its ability to adapt its personality to fit the desires of its human companions.  They operate out of their intuitive senses rather than instinct.  With the clarity and innocence of children, they remarkably know what is really going on in their human environment, regardless of how things actually look.
  They can take a place as your sidekick, provide all the love and attention a person could desire from a pet, lie on your lap when you are quietly seated,  sown an abundance of energy and mischief, comfort you when you are feeling low, be sensitive to your disposition, or romp around when your feeling great. Loving to be looked at, they perform funny antics for mutual entertainment.
  Because of their desire to be admired, they are easy to be handled. The Traditional Sphynx exudes intimacy. Their very nature is to love and be loved by a human being, via the intensity and devotion to their humans. It has been said, “These cats are so interactive, so completely satisfying, entertaining and enchanting that we can’t imagine our lives without them.  In truth these cats are healing by their very nature.  They are instant intimacy in a culture in which true intimacy is almost impossible to come by.”

Personality
The Donskoy is a very intriguing, elegant, unique, inquisitive, soft-hearted and social cat. They are very active, extremely friendly, highly intelligent very loving and amiable. The Donskoy is very good-natured, gentle, easy to groom and handle. Their coats are warm and soft to the touch making then wonderful to hold and cuddle. They have a well balanced personality, show a lively interest in their surroundings, and enjoy making up & playing games. Donskoy are extremely affectionate with a frisky nature and an irrepressible curiosity. They are very social and are under the impression that anyone entering the home is there to see them. Their social skills extend to other animals to which they also will offer companionship. They are loyal and dedicated to their owners. These highly sociable cats need company and should not be without a companion pet. Donskoy love to be a part of all your activities and are easily trained to follow voice commands.

PETERBALD
Peterbald is a cat which does not run away in the face of something unknown. On the contrary. Each new thing induces its great curiosity. It will peer into a vacuum cleaner pipe, it will eagerly find out who is drilling holes in the wall and will welcome guests affectionately...

15 years ago one could only dream about an animal which would combine this extraordinary curiosity, gentleness, intelligence, elegance and charm, cleverness of the look and uncommon beauty. Even among people it was hard to notice such combination of wonderful features, and it has been achieved only by peterbalds...

While getting to know peterbalds and spending time with them it suddenly turns out that in fact we do not know who we are dealing with - monkeys, dogs, cats or some Russian experiment. Extremely successful after all...

Extraordinary intelligence of peterbalds makes us think thousand times whether we will not hurt these animals before we utter any words addressed to them. The loyalty of a dog that a peterbald has makes this bald creature become our friend until the end of our lives. By teaching it sensitivity and delicacy, its mild temper also lets it become friends with a child.

Peterbald requires constant attention. Therefore, if you do not have time and need an animal which would nicely fit the interior of your house - let a peterbald stay in a cattery. It does not fit on a shelf as well as should not be a decoration of a newly bought sofa. This is an active and vivaciuos animal and if you do not notice these features in your peterbald, it will be a sign of boredom, cat depression or illness.

Peterbald is addictive and I am a perfect example of this...Peterbald is Nature's Miracle in the form of an Angel. It brings peace and harmony to your home - that is everything which makes us feel happy.

So today I can say that I have experienced a Miracle and saw an Angel...
